GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN EVENT MANAGEMENT

Duration: 1 year
English Language: Have an overall IELTS band score (Academic) of no less
than 6.5 (with no band score lower than 6.0), or a TOEFL score of no less
than 575, or equivalent
Academic Entry: have a bachelors degree or professional qualification
relating to this area of study

The Graduate Diploma in Event Management is ideal for those students who
wish to work in the areas of:
Conference manager
Corporate communication manager
Event manager

Promotions manager
Special event co-ordinator
Sponsorship manager
Exhibitions organiser
The programme combines a focus on event management with a sound
understanding of public relations (PR), media liaison, reputation
management and communication processes.

Certificate in Communication & Media Arts
Level 4
Duration: 1 semester
English Language: Have an overall IELTS band score (Academic) of no less
than 5.5 (with no band score lower than 5.5), or a TOEFL score of no less
than 525, or equivalent
Tuition Fees: NZD 8,750 (tbc)
The Certificate in Communication and Media Arts is ideal for those who
want to go on to higher-level study in communication or performing and
screen arts, or who are simply not sure exactly what area to focus on. It
is also perfect for people already in employment who want to improve their
personal communication and professional presentation skills.
Once students complete this Certificate, they can then pathway onto either
the Bachelor of Communication or Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts
for three years.
Nursing in Aotearoa (assessment programme)
Is open for 2010 (but closed for 2009).
